i loved this film. i truly wanted to live in this house. i especially love the red tiled kitchen. i've only seen it twice though. it would be a nice film to own + revisit on occasion. great colors + visual details.
Interestingly, I don't think this movie was that great. However, it IS beautiful. I mean, it is absolutely gorgeous. I used a lot of samples from that movie for various live sets I've done.

ReplyDeletemaybe not a great movie, but then i like different movies for different reasons. this is one i think about often, i guess because it is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe film used to have a website that was AMAZING, but it's no longer around. I thought the movie was basically good, but I am partial to sister-tales.
