I get choked up just looking at the stills. I've not seen this in so many years, and the performance was so heart-wrenching, I wanted to hug the pain and sadness away. A good reminder to be aware of the human condition.
glad you all enjoyed the post. i tried my best not to get to carried away, but there are so many stunning images in this film. i must have take close to two hundred stills, every shot is amazing. the cinematographer, Freddie Francis, is a master of black+white. he was cinematographer for the innocents as well.
My favorite film. Thanks for posting!
