Obscure Hollow is up for "Best Horror Blog" at this years Rondo Awards!
It has just been announced that The Obscure Hollow has been nominated for the 7th Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards in the "Best Horror Blog" of 2008 category! (Category #15 - which is a new category this year). Here is what the site says about the awards:
"These awards are by fans, for fans. Every Rondo nominee is being recognized for a significant achievement in the genre -- great filmmaking, strong writing, significant scholarship or just plain fun. So please take a look at the ballot and let the nominees know how much we appreciate their work by voting.
The winners will receive Rondo statuettes. The statuette is a miniature version of the bust of Rondo Hatton seen in the Universal film, HOUSE OF HORRORS (1946)" (!)
Please vote for us. First, go here to get the Ballot at the official Rondo Award website. Ultimately they want you to email your vote to: taraco@aol.com. Copy + Pasting the ballot is fine! You DO NOT have to cast a vote in every category! In other words, you can just vote for, say... Best Horror Blog, if your time is limited ;)
